Word spread about the record-breaking phenom from central Missouri. Fair and festival committees started booking Strongman Steve Schmidt to rally a crowd and leave them awestruck. Bolstered by his growing faith in the Lord, a supportive wife and world records galore, he drew attention and did not disappoint the fans that flocked to see his feats in person. But the performer noticed one particular aspect of his road show that did more than surprise the audiences. It left them dumbfounded.
“Most of the folks watched the horseshoe, wrench and nail bending with interest,” Steve says. “But when it came to the teeth pulling, they jumped for a front row seat!”
